What is prayer?

Prayer is communicating with God. Prayer is God talking to us and we are able to talk with God. Communicating with God is like talking with your very very best friend about everything and anything. 

Why is prayer important?

 Prayer is important because it allows us to be more like Jesus in our  day to day lives and reveals to us the heart and  soul of God.  

Our prayer time should consist of:

Adoration: To adore God means to worship, praise and honor God and only God.

Confession: We must confess our wrong doings and turn away from things that are displeasing to God.

Thanksgiving: an attitude and heart of thanksgiving to God for what Goad has done, what God is doing and what God will do in the lives of God’s children.

Supplication: Asking God for the needs of others and then our needs second.
