Purpose of EGM Logo

We believe that our Statements of Faith are found in our Logo beginning with the Shield of Faith is to protect us from the spiritual attacks of the adversary that are always at work to destroy the believer. The bible tells us in Ephesians 6:16 NRSV; “With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

We believe the Bible is the major source for connecting with God and following the teachings of Jesus Christ. The bible tells us in John 1:1 NRSV; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

We believe Prayer is essential for everything we do at EGM. Prayer allows us access to talk with God and God to talk with us in order for us to be in the perfect will of God. The bible tells us in 1John 5:14-15 NRSV; “And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.”

We believe Praise is a part of EGM because we are always praising and thanking God for what God has done, what God is doing and what God is about to do in our lives, individually and corporately. The bible tell us in Psalm 150:6 NRSV; 

“Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! 

Praise the Lord”!

We believe the Globe keeps us focused on what our mission is to be about and that is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ all over the world. The bible tells us in Matthew 28:19-20 NRSV; Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you, and remember, 

I am with you always to the end of the age".
